Where creativity grows, confidence builds, and learning is always fun!
Art FUNdamentals is a weekly studio class where young artists develop real artistic skills while discovering the joy of creating. Through engaging, hands-on projects, students explore drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, mixed media, design, and more while learning the foundations of great art.
Each lesson builds upon the last, helping students strengthen their artistic abilities, creative problem-solving skills, and personal style in a welcoming and encouraging environment. Students learn how artists use elements like line, color, shape, texture, form, and value to bring their ideas to life, all while exploring their own creativity and unique perspective.
Art FUNdamentals goes beyond making projects. Students learn how art connects to science, math, history, language arts, and the world around them, building skills that extend far beyond the art room.
Separate classes are offered for elementary students and middle/high school students, with lessons adapted to meet each age group’s abilities, interests, and creative goals.
